A valuable opportunity to join a global professional services firm in a specialist risk role, supporting information protection across a multi-jurisdictional business. Working as part of the internal Risk team, the successful candidate will help deliver data protection, technology risk and information security governance across the Channel Islands, collaborating with UK and global teams.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting the development, implementation and monitoring of information protection policies.
- Promoting awareness and best practices relating to data security across the firm.
- Conducting control assessments and working closely with UK and global teams.
- Investigating and reporting on local data breaches and maintaining internal compliance records.
- Advising on data protection assessments and regulatory requirements.
- Assisting with completion of regulatory returns and documentation.
- Developing and embedding technology risk frameworks and assessing new systems.
- Providing advice on data and technology risks to internal business units.
- Assisting with risk reporting and ongoing development of risk management systems and processes.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong interest in information security, data protection, controls assurance or technology governance. They will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to analyse business processes to identify risks. Strong project management and IT skills are essential, alongside a proactive and adaptable approach to work. Additional training and professional development will be provided as required. Applicants must hold the right to live and work in Guernsey. Occasional travel between islands or further afield may be required.
