Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-driven contractor to support the closure of companies and trusts over a 12-month period! This role requires a strong understanding of fiduciary services and relevant legal frameworks, making it ideal for someone with previous experience in trust administration or entity wind-downs. There is potential for the duration of this position to be extended.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Managing the orderly closure of companies and trusts in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinating with administrators, clients, legal advisors and intermediaries to facilitate asset liquidation and liability settlement.
- Ensuring tax clearances are obtained and all termination documentation is complete.
- Reviewing, updating, and maintaining accurate closure files and records.
- Monitoring financial and legal matters throughout the closure process.
- Supporting strong communication across all stakeholders involved.
- Assisting in developing efficient administrative procedures in line with service standards.
- Upholding best practice and regulatory compliance throughout the closure lifecycle.
- Completing any additional duties appropriate to the level and nature of the role.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong and growing knowledge of fiduciary services and demonstrable experience managing trust and company closures. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a relevant role is required, and candidates should be professionally qualified or working towards completion. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with a high level of organisation and accuracy. The ability to work independently and maintain client relationships professionally is key.
