This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing finance team in Guernsey or Jersey as a Financial Reporting Accountant, reporting directly to the Head of Financial Reporting.
You’ll play a key role in consolidations, statutory reporting, and supporting audits across the Group – a position offering both technical depth and career progression. This is a hands-on and rewarding position where you’ll be responsible for delivering accurate Group financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the development of robust financial controls and policies. It’s a great chance to work in a complex, fast-moving environment with exposure to senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing monthly Group consolidations and reviewing intercompany reconciliations.
- Supporting interim and annual consolidated financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
- Assisting with technical accounting matters and implementing group policies.
- Managing the audit process by preparing files, responding to queries, and supporting statutory reporting.
This role is ideal for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with experience in financial reporting and consolidations. You’ll bring strong technical knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work to deadlines in a dynamic environment. Strong communication skills and confidence in working with auditors and senior stakeholders are essential.
