As part of the Global Support Team, the successful candidate will provide high-quality administrative and secretarial assistance to fee earners and wider departments, helping to ensure efficient daily operations and excellent client service. Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Managing day-to-day administrative tasks and supporting allocated fee earners.
- Answering telephone calls and accurately relaying messages.
- Preparing and formatting documents, including legal correspondence and letters.
- Maintaining and updating physical and digital client files, including document scanning and filing.
- Processing invoices, expenses and payments, and following up with clients as needed.
- Managing diaries, scheduling meetings and booking travel or hospitality arrangements.
- Assisting with data input and contact maintenance within internal systems.
- Providing ad hoc support across departments and covering reception when required.
- Ensuring stationery levels are maintained and supporting the wider team during busy periods.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to a collaborative office culture.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within a legal or professional services environment. Excellent organisation, attention to detail and time management skills are essential. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook is required, with familiarity in Excel and PowerPoint being advantageous. A positive, proactive approach and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting will be key to success in this role.
