Whether ice skating is your passion, or you are simply looking for some extra work over the festive period, we are looking to expand our helpful and friendly team at ISG, from manning the ticket desk, to marshalling on the Ice Rink, or even running our Virtual Reality Sleigh Ride experience. There is
something for everyone!
Being able to skate is a bonus, but certainly not essential, as shoe spikes are provided should you need to go on the rink for any of your duties.
Essential duties and responsibilities
● Staff the skate exchange, fitting customers with ice skates
● Operate the ticket desk, take bookings, and check in customers
● Assist with general housekeeping of the Skate Exchange, tidying, hoovering etc...
● Assist with Rink maintenance as required, Scraping off excess Ice etc...
● Open and close the rink and skate exchange
● Marshalling the Ice rink, either in skates or in shoes with shoe grips supplied, to ensure customer safety
● Help run and maintain the virtual reality sleigh ride experience for customers
Ideal candidate criteria
● Must be confident with going on the ice, either in ice skates on walking with shoe grips supplied
● Must be flexible, available to work within the times of Monday to Sunday, 10 - 8 (these are the rink operating times and are not your fixed hours of work)
● Maintain a positive and friendly working attitude with all colleagues and customers
