Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Providing legal advice to support regulatory and supervisory activities across the organisation.
- Assisting with enforcement matters and contributing to litigation work as required.
- Supporting policy development through legal research and drafting.
- Advising on day-to-day operational matters and offering legal interpretation.
- Contributing to the drafting of Commission rules, regulations, ordinances, and laws.
- Liaising with external legal advisors, legislative drafters, and industry bodies.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will either be a qualified legal professional with experience relevant to financial regulation or a graduate seeking to pursue a career in legal services through a structured trainee programme. A strong interest in regulation, a methodical and analytical approach, and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders will be essential.
