You will help us to develop and deliver a wide range of programme from our Nocq Road Community Centre, which incorporates a café and charity shop. This role is a genuine opportunity to put back into your community.<br><br><br><br>The role of Community Centre Manager is crucial in the smooth running of our community centre programme, overseeing the physical infrastructure of the buildings, and managing the volunteers who help us.<br><br><br><br>Using your existing experience in related areas, you will:<br><br><br><br>Be accountable for all people related activities<br><br>Manage an effective volunteer programme<br><br>Oversee and run all aspects of the community centre including the Charity Shop, Café.<br><br>Assess community needs; design and deliver appropriate programmes<br><br>Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders, and build strong links with the community<br><br>Be responsible for ensuring that the building is suitably managed, maintained and equipped<br><br>Ensure that all visitors to the centre are welcomed, supported, and treated with respect<br><br>As a Christian Church and charity, you will need a willingness to work within our ethos, and advocate our values.<br><br><br><br>In order to complete your application please download and read the job profile and any other attachments.<br><br><br><br>In the job profile you will find the criteria required for the role please make sure that you address this in your supporting statement as this forms the basis of our shortlisting.<br><br><br><br>Appointment subject to satisfactory references, proof of valid Permit or Certificate which allows you to work.
