A professional services firm is looking to appoint a Risk Programme Manager to lead strategic initiatives across its firmwide risk function. This is a key role focused on programme delivery, stakeholder engagement and the ongoing implementation of internal risk and compliance frameworks. Working closely with senior leadership, the successful candidate will oversee cross-functional programmes, support operational risk controls and play an important role in shaping the business's risk posture.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Leading and coordinating risk-related programmes, including assessments, compliance initiatives and operational risk reviews.
- Collaborating with senior leadership to align programme goals with firm strategy.
- Managing the implementation of quality frameworks, such as QMSE and ISQM1, across internal teams.
- Overseeing governance, risk metrics and programme status reporting to stakeholders.
- Coordinating team resources across multiple workstreams, including offshore support and subject matter experts.
- Providing clear, timely documentation and maintaining an audit-ready environment.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in risk management or compliance, ideally gained within a professional services or financial institution. They will be confident leading large-scale programmes and working across departments to embed risk processes effectively. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are key, alongside sound knowledge of regulatory frameworks. Familiarity with internal quality standards such as QMSE and ISQM1 is preferred, and any exposure to platforms like ServiceNow would be an advantage. A relevant risk, compliance or project management qualification is desirable, but not essential if the individual is open to pursuing one. This is a hands-on role with significant strategic input, offering scope for someone who enjoys variety and influence in their work.
