Accounting, Project Management Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Client Accounting Project Officer to join their dynamic team on a permanent contract. This role is pivotal in enhancing client service excellence through effective project implementation and the standardisation of accounting practices. You will play a key role in facilitating improvements and aligning practices with organisational goals while working closely with a dedicated transformation team. Collaborate with the transformation team to develop new bookkeeping practices and financial statement preparation methods that promote organisational improvements Assist in testing new templates and automated processes by gathering and analysing feedback Lead the implementation of new accounting policies and processes, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project scopes Communicate directly with software and service providers to troubleshoot issues and propose enhancements Act as a liaison between the transformation and client accounting teams, facilitating the transition to new systems and technologies Provide regular progress updates on accounting projects to the Finance Director Aid in drafting proposals and reports for the Board of Directors
Job Requirements:
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of accounting principles Familiarity with SSRS reporting, Power BI reporting, and automated workflow processes Successful completion of ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent) and compliance with CPD requirements Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders High attention to detail and exceptional documentation skills Ability to identify and resolve moderately complex issues with guidance Proactive and self-sufficient in meeting deadlines while demonstrating a thoughtful approach to tasks Exemplifies a positive and committed approach to work
