An opportunity has arisen for a technically skilled IT Administrator to join our clients' busy IT team. This role will be central to maintaining and enhancing IT systems and infrastructure, while delivering a high-quality service desk experience for colleagues.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing L1 and L2+ service desk support.
  • Maintaining and enhancing IT systems in line with policies and SLAs.
  • Managing system issues through to resolution and supporting vendor relationships.
  • Contributing to IT documentation, risk management, and business continuity planning.
  • Supporting the procurement, implementation, and improvement of IT solutions.
  • Promoting a secure cyber environment and supporting information security practices.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to deliver excellent customer experiences.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year's experience in IT operations, engineering, or service desk roles. They will bring strong problem-solving skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and effective communication with both technical and non-technical colleagues. Knowledge of Windows desktop environments, Active Directory, Office 365, and basic Windows Server administration is essential. An understanding of Azure, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity principles is desirable, alongside industry certifications such as MCP/MCSA, ITIL, or security credentials. Experience in financial services or regulated environments would be an advantage.
