HR / Training Our client is seeking a proactive and people-focused People Advisor to join their dynamic People team on a 6-month fixed-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated HR professional to provide expert guidance and support across the full employee lifecycle, helping to shape and deliver their people strategy. Working closely with the Chief People Officer and People Business Partners, you will play a key role in supporting managers and colleagues, driving continuous improvement, and contributing to a positive and inclusive workplace culture. This role offers variety, development, and the chance to make a real impact in a collaborative environment. Job Duties:

Provide first-line advice and guidance to managers and colleagues on a wide range of employment matters, including performance, conduct, absence, recruitment, and contractual queries. Support the delivery of a comprehensive employee lifecycle process, including documentation, onboarding, and offboarding. Assist with the development and implementation of people policies, frameworks, and practices aligned to the organisation’s strategy. Support the design and rollout of learning and development programmes, including training needs analysis. Contribute to case management of employee relations issues such as disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management. Assist with recruitment campaigns, job description reviews, advertising, and candidate sourcing. Provide administrative support to the Chief People Officer and People Business Partners as required. Help generate management information and reports to support decision-making. Promote and role model the organisation’s values, supporting a culture of trust, ownership, and collaboration.

Job Requirements:

CIPD Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Human Resource Management. Experience working within a People/HR team, supporting a wide range of stakeholders. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to coach, guide, and influence. Knowledge of generalist HR practices across the full employee lifecycle. Ability to manage workload effectively and prioritise in line with business needs. Commitment to role modelling positive behaviours aligned with organisational values. Desirable: CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification. Experience in HR advisory roles. Knowledge of HR practices within financial services. Experience with process improvement and change methodologies.
