Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with operating system patch management through SCCM and Microsoft Intune.
- Maintaining baseline builds for departments.
- Collaborating with stakeholders and project teams to provide IT consultancy.
- Supporting continuous improvements to internal IT systems.
- Deploying and configuring virtual machines within VMware and managing capacity.
- Deploying and managing applications and endpoints using Microsoft Intune.
- Supporting monitoring and alerting platforms.
- Providing 1st and 2nd line support via the IT Helpdesk.
- Supporting Microsoft/Office 365 services for internal customers.
- Managing data protection tools and services, including file classification and DLP.
- Working with external vendors to support project delivery.
- Ensuring compliance with data protection, licensing, and regulatory requirements.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in an IT-related role, with skills in VMware, Microsoft Intune, and public cloud services such as Azure. Experience with Active Directory/Entra ID and Office 365 platforms is essential. They will be motivated, professional, and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and a keen interest in technology. Professional IT accreditations and qualifications in computer science, networking, or information security would be advantageous. Experience with Dynamics 365, Teams Voice, or ISO standards would also be beneficial.
