A local telecommunications company seeks a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and support cloud services, including IaaS, backup, disaster recovery, and security. The role involves leading VMware, storage, networking, and system administration on Windows and Linux platforms.
This hands-on role involves full project lifecycle work, from design to delivery and third-line support, while also providing expert advice to clients and mentoring junior staff. The successful candidate will contribute to system improvements, manage complex technical issues, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will require at least 5 years of experience in a senior infrastructure role, with a strong understanding of VMware and related technologies. Professional certifications such as VCP, MCSE, or CCNP are preferred.
