| An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Fox Trading Group team in Guernsey as a Service Manager at The Refresh Collectiv.<br><br><br><br>Role Scope:<br><br>The Service Manager is a proactive and adaptable leader responsible for driving operational excellence, fostering a positive team culture, and delivering high-quality service in line with the Group's Purpose and Values. With strong communication and problem-solving skills, they oversee departmental performance, customer service, logistics, and compliance, while supporting team development and continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.<br><br><br><br>They will:<br><br>Have highly effective communication skills<br><br>Be a leader who understands their own style and how to adapt it as needed<br><br>Be capable of planning and managing processes to maximise efficiency and productivity<br><br>Promote a positive, inclusive team culture and live by our goals, values and purpose<br><br>Operate effectively in a dynamic, evolving environment<br><br>Be proactive in resolving issues<br><br>Empathise with the challenges faced by both colleagues and customers<br><br><br><br>Key Responsibilities:<br><br>Lead and support the team to achieve its purpose and live its values<br><br>Manage workload, performance, and service levels across the department<br><br>Act as the main point of contact for customer service requests<br><br>Oversee inventory for spare parts, equipment, and water cooler operations<br><br>Issue and control work orders, stock records, and machine audits<br><br>Conduct on-site risk assessments and coordinate logistics for installations and removals<br><br>Ensure service quality and cleanliness meet high standards<br><br>Build strong relationships with both customers and suppliers<br><br>Develop the team's skills and performance, promoting continuous improvement<br><br>Produce regular departmental performance reports<br><br>Maintain compliance with Health & Safety legislation and internal procedures<br><br>Ensure equipment is well-maintained and hygienic, in line with industry best practice<br><br>Perform both reactive and scheduled maintenance<br><br>Uphold and communicate procedures and standards clearly across the team<br><br>Monitor team compliance and address areas for improvement<br><br>Hold regular team check-ins and meetings for upward and two-way communication<br><br>Schedule and coordinate team members in line with business needs<br><br>Embed best practices in inbound and outbound logistics<br><br>Foster motivation and provide professional support to colleagues<br><br>Regularly review employee performance<br><br><br><br>Requirements:<br><br>Ability to research, assess and make informed decisions<br><br>Strong problem-solving skills<br><br>Excellent written and verbal English communication skills<br><br>Self-motivated and well-organised<br><br>Strategic thinker with commercial awareness<br><br>Excellent customer service skills and a courteous, professional manner<br><br>Good understanding of Health & Safety (IOSH trained preferred)<br><br>Engineering background or equivalent qualification desirable<br><br>Educated to at least A-level or equivalent; degree preferred<br><br>Experience in operations, facilities management, and policy development<br><br>Proficient in Office 365<br><br>First Aid at Work certification<br><br>Fire Marshal certification<br><br><br><br>**How to Apply **<br><br>To apply for this role, please submit your updated resume highlighting your relevant experience and qualifications to .<br><br><br><br>We look forward to reviewing your application and potentially welcoming you to the Fox Trading family.<br><br> |
