Compliance Our client is seeking a Privacy Officer to provide essential support to the CEO and other team members on various ongoing projects. This full-time position involves collaborating with colleagues to achieve project goals within set deadlines and keeping abreast of all project developments. The Privacy Officer will be instrumental in identifying potential issues or risks that may occur, communicating regularly with the Supervisor, and making full use of IT systems and platforms. Responsibilities involve utilising tools like Lucidchart for process mapping and CRM for project management, ensuring that all project updates and relevant information are communicated efficiently. The successful candidate will also be required to conduct client assessments and prepare thorough reports on findings. Job Duties:
Collaborate with team members to meet objectives within assigned timeframes. Track project status and complete assigned tasks under the Supervisor’s guidance. Identify and report any issues or risks associated with projects. Maintain regular communication with the Supervisor regarding project updates. Fully utilise IT platforms, including Lucidchart, CRM, and Office 365 for project management. Document time spent on tasks, progress, and relevant information in the CRM daily. Conduct 'current state' assessments for potential clients and compile reports on findings. Foster professional relationships with clients through clear and approachable communication. Pursue and follow up on new business development opportunities. Assist clients directly, manage travel arrangements, and travel to client sites when needed. Support various project-related tasks to ensure successful completion. Identify opportunities to streamline projects for optimal outcomes and increased profitability. Engage in ongoing education to remain updated on leadership techniques and industry standards. Stay informed about changes in Data Protection standards by reading professional publications. Provide project updates and presentations for the Supervisor, highlighting project value and status. Ensure compliance with company policies and project standards within the team. Assist with training courses, including preparing necessary materials and documentation. Demonstrate flexibility and availability to support ongoing projects. Work on specific projects as directed by the Managing Director.
Job Requirements:
Post-Secondary education with an emphasis on GDPR and CI Data Protection awareness preferred. Professional qualification in data protection is advantageous. Previous experience in handling data protection issues is essential. Strong enthusiasm and commitment to the role. Excellent oral and written communication abilities. Strong presentation and time management skills. Capability to prioritise tasks effectively. Results-driven approach with a focus on teamwork. Exceptional attention to detail.
