Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining the breach register and monitoring the status of CT checks.
- Completing annual Scheme Particular and annual accounts reviews.
- Preparing Open & Closed period reporting.
- Managing GFSC notifications and supporting on-site visits.
- Monitoring regulatory activity for each fund.
- Reviewing scheme rules and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Assisting with investigations into breaches or pricing errors.
- Conducting daily, monthly, quarterly and periodic valuation reconciliations.
- Completing CMO checks and assisting with procedure updates.
- Supporting audit processes alongside senior colleagues.
- Providing cover for billing, financial reporting, AGM notice chasing, NAV sheet checks and maintaining the Fund Bible.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Guernsey funds, either from a custodian or fund administration environment. They will have a good understanding of GFSC rules for Collective Investment Schemes, along with experience using systems such as Bloomberg or IDS. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and clear communication are essential, as is confidence working within a regulated environment. A willingness to learn and develop is important.
