Nanny (Live-In or Live-Out) - St Martin's

| Start date: January 2026<br><br><br><br>We're a warm, easy-going family of five (girls aged 4 and 8, and a 10-year-old boy) plus a very cuddly 14-year-old Labradoodle, looking for a kind, capable and outdoors-loving nanny to join us here in Guernsey.<br><br><br><br>This varied role combines childcare, cooking, light housekeeping, and family admin — perfect for someone organised, proactive, and family-oriented. We're open to either a live-in or live-out arrangement, depending on what suits you best.<br><br><br><br>About Us<br><br>We've lived in Guernsey since 2020 and absolutely love island life.<br><br>Both parents work full-time remotely from home for a business we run together. Once a month we travel to London for 1-2 nights, so we'd need you to "proxy-parent" during these short trips.<br><br>Our children are creative, active, and close-knit — they love being outdoors, imaginative play, and spending time together.<br><br><br><br>About the Role<br><br>During term time, your core hours will be afternoons, after school and early evenings. You'll:<br><br>- Collect the children from school and take them to activities<br><br>- Arrange playdates and outings<br><br>- Cook healthy, tasty meals and snacks<br><br>- Help with homework, bath and bedtime<br><br>- Keep the children's areas clean, tidy and organised<br><br><br><br>Morning hours are flexible — you can use this time for yourself or help with breakfast and school drop off, light housekeeping, errands or family admin (such as grocery shopping).<br><br><br><br>During school holidays, we often travel as a family (sometimes with the dog!) and would love our nanny to join us. When we're home, we'd love you to plan fun, balanced days — beach trips, bike rides, creative play, playdates, and a bit of downtime too.<br><br><br><br>About You<br><br>We're looking for someone who is:<br><br>- Warm, calm, loving and reliable<br><br>- Organised and proactive — happy to plan ahead and help family life run smoothly<br><br>- Active and outdoorsy — you'll enjoy Guernsey life and encourage the children to do the same<br><br>- Flexible and positive — happy to muck in where needed<br><br>- Experienced with children of similar ages<br><br>- A confident driver (car provided for work use; personal use can be discussed)<br><br><br><br>We're a screen-light family — the kids don't have tablets or phones, and TV time is limited — so creativity and imaginative play are very welcome here!<br><br><br><br>Accommodation & Benefits<br><br>If you prefer to live in, you'll have a choice of:<br><br>- A large ensuite bedroom in the main house, or<br><br>- A private, spacious studio apartment next door<br><br>If you're local and prefer to live out, that works too.<br><br>If you're Live In we can organise an open market employment license for you if required.  If you're Live Out you'll need to already have a license to work in Guernsey.<br><br><br><br>How to Apply<br><br>If this sounds like the right fit for you, we'd love to hear from you!<br><br>Please contact us by WhatsApp 07786 566972 with a short note about yourself and your experience. |
