HR / Training Our client is seeking a dynamic Junior HR Manager to join their Human Resources team. In this operational role, you will support a wide range of HR functions, including performance management, HR project delivery, and learning and development initiatives. There will be a focused emphasis on developing early career pathways specifically for lawyers. As a junior HR Manager, you will have the opportunity to act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, aligning HR initiatives with the firm's goals and values. This entry-level role is ideal for early-career HR professionals looking to gain hands-on experience and progress within the field. You will receive structured coaching and a variety of development opportunities, while also contributing to a people-focused culture that values empowerment and diversity. Job Duties:
Support the annual performance review process and talent development initiatives. Assist in succession planning and career development frameworks. Promote a culture of continuous feedback and high performance. Ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date, compliant, and communicated effectively. Provide guidance on policy interpretation and application. Support audits and regulatory compliance as required. Lead or contribute to global and local HR projects aligned with strategic objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement change initiatives and improve employee experience. Monitor HR metrics and provide insights for decision-making. Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in the HRIS. Promote the effective use of HR systems and tools. Design, coordinate, and deliver induction programmes for new joiners, including cultural onboarding. Organise and manage internal and external training events for technical and critical skills development. Support employees pursuing professional qualifications through administrative coordination and mentoring. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify training needs and implement tailored development plans. Manage local talent development programmes including bursary schemes and internships. Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve learning offerings in line with business goals.
Job Requirements:
CIPD qualification preferred. Recent and relevant HR experience in a professional services or corporate environment. Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and organisational development. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organisational and time management abilities. High attention to detail and commitment to quality. Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused. Demonstrates integrity, discretion, and sound judgement.
