| Mailroom Operative<br><br>Mon-Fri 08-16:30<br><br><br><br>We are seeking a Mailroom & Scanning Operative to support logistics, goods receiving, and mail services across a busy facilities operation. This role provides essential support across internal mail handling, parcel processing, event set-up assistance and general FM support activities, ensuring a high standard of service delivery in line with agreed SLAs.<br><br><br><br>Job Description<br><br>The successful candidate will handle incoming and outgoing mail, operate scanning and tracking systems, assist with porterage tasks across site, and ensure accurate documentation and customer service at all times.<br><br><br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br><br><br>Sort, scan and distribute incoming mail and parcels to the correct departments.<br><br><br><br>Log deliveries accurately using a tracking system to maintain audit trails.<br><br><br><br>Prepare and coordinate outgoing mail and courier collections.<br><br><br><br>Assist with internal moves, furniture relocation and general porterage.<br><br><br><br>Support site set-up for meetings, events and internal logistics activities.<br><br><br><br>Monitor and replenish mailroom supplies and consumables.<br><br><br><br>Maintain accurate records and follow operational and compliance processes.<br><br><br><br>Assist with waste management and general facilities support when required.<br><br><br><br>Provide a responsive and customer-focused service to stakeholders and site users.<br><br><br><br>Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications<br><br><br><br>Highly motivated, reliable and customer service focused.<br><br><br><br>Strong communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.<br><br><br><br>Basic IT skills and comfortable using manual and digital tracking systems.<br><br><br><br>Willingness to learn and develop new skills on the job.<br><br><br><br>Understanding of health & safety and safe working practices.<br><br><br><br>Able to identify and resolve issues quickly and professionally.<br><br><br><br>Must hold Guernsey Residential Qualifications.<br><br><br><br>The Company<br><br>ISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
