Our client is seeking an experienced compliance professional to hold prescribed roles, deliver strategic advice and contribute to the continued growth of their specialist compliance consultancy business. Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Acting as MLRO, MLCO and Compliance Officer for client entities.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships to retain and grow business.
  • Providing day-to-day advisory support on governance, risk and regulatory compliance.
  • Drafting and implementing client policies, procedures and controls.
  • Completing bespoke advisory and project work.
  • Designing and delivering compliance and AML/CFT training.
  • Contributing to business development initiatives, including events and thought leadership.
  • Negotiating fees and managing WIP, billing and cost estimates.
  • Supporting the broader consultancy team and contributing to firm-wide growth.

Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years' experience in Guernsey compliance and hold a relevant ICA qualification. They will have demonstrable experience acting as MLRO, MLCO or Compliance Officer and possess strong knowledge of the GFSC's POI and/or fiduciary regulatory frameworks. A confident communicator, they will be comfortable working independently, producing written content, and delivering presentations or training. Strong judgement, commercial awareness and the ability to build trusted client relationships are essential.
