IT Our client is seeking to recruit an experienced Senior IT Consultant to join their Service Delivery team, which is responsible for providing outsourced IT support. This role is critical to ensuring the effective and continuous provision of support to a diverse range of clients. The successful candidate will be tasked with resolving technically challenging, time-sensitive, and high-priority tickets in accordance with established KPIs and SLAs. As a Senior Consultant, the ideal candidate will bring experience in managing complex environments, specialising in Microsoft 365 and cloud technologies. The day-to-day responsibilities will involve administering Office 365, Azure, MFA, and Windows Server, including Active Directory, Exchange, and SQL. Additionally, a confident use of ticketing systems, firewall management (SonicWall, Ubiquiti), and Wi-Fi support will be essential, accompanied by a solid understanding of networking fundamentals. Furthermore, as a senior team member, the consultant may lead project delivery, necessitating both technical proficiency and strong business acumen. Job Duties:
Provide outsourced IT support to a diverse range of clients. Resolve technically challenging and high-priority tickets. Manage complex environments with a specialisation in Microsoft 365 and cloud technologies. Administer Office 365, Azure, MFA, and Windows Server including Active Directory, Exchange, and SQL. Utilise ticketing systems and manage firewall configurations (SonicWall, Ubiquiti). Provide Wi-Fi support and apply networking fundamentals. Lead project delivery, demonstrating technical proficiency and business acumen. Independently scope, plan, and execute migrations across Microsoft 365, Exchange, Azure, and on-premises environments. Engage effectively with third-party vendors and clients to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
Job Requirements:
Proven experience as an IT Consultant or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and cloud technologies. Expertise in administrating Office 365, Azure, MFA, and Windows Server (including AD, Exchange, SQL). Familiarity with ticketing systems and firewall management tools. Solid understanding of networking fundamentals. Demonstrated ability to manage complex environments and lead project delivery. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and vendor engagement. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
