HR / Training Our client is seeking a People Consultant / Regional Lead to ensure a consistent employee experience for all staff members across their operations in the Crown Dependencies. This full-time position, based in Guernsey, offers a competitive salary and is critical to delivering the company's Employee Value Proposition throughout the employee lifecycle. The successful candidate will work closely with specialist teams within People & Organisation to adapt and fine-tune their offerings, ensuring they align with the company's culture and local nuances. The role also requires developing strong relationships across the organisation, acting as a trusted advisor to the CEO and the regional leadership team. Job Duties:

Work with the CEO and Leadership Team to diagnose and address current people and organisational needs, partnering with specialist teams as necessary. Provide advice and manage employee relations matters, applying local employment law effectively. Build trusted relationships with employees while maintaining confidentiality as required. Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, from attraction and selection to onboarding and exits. Collaborate with the CEO to foster a high-performing environment through employee engagement initiatives. Work with employee-led groups locally, leveraging initiatives from London to create opportunities for all employees. Ensure that all actions are aligned with the company's culture and values.

Job Requirements:

Proven experience as a People/HR Consultant with a strong track record in managing employee matters. In-depth knowledge of local employment law and its practical application. Experience in mediation and employee relations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Competence in coaching and assessment, particularly for managers and supervisors. Financial understanding to guide annual salary and bonus processes, recognising salary surveys and overseeing payroll. Relevant professional qualifications in HR, such as CIPD or an equivalent in HR/Organisation Psychology; a coaching qualification is advantageous.
