Banking, Credit / Lending, Trainee / Graduate Our client is seeking a Junior Credit Card Support professional to assist analysts and support them in their daily tasks. This is an entry-level position within a small, collaborative team. The successful candidate will start in a junior capacity and receive full training to progress into a Relationship Manager role. This role involves preparing application reviews, providing a range of customer support, and undertaking various operational tasks and administration within the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing credit card application packs, which include ID and verification checks and reviewing high-risk factors. Additional responsibilities include assisting customers with digital onboarding through face-to-face meetings and handling inquiries related to the credit card mobile app and ancillary services. The Junior Credit Card Support will work closely with the Jersey team while also liaising with colleagues in Guernsey. They will be tasked with completing daily administrative duties and aiding in team projects and large-scale system tasks. Furthermore, the role will involve assisting in setting up direct debits and providing support to the Local Banking Team with the servicing of existing clients and onboarding of new clients. The candidate will also assist clients with online banking activation, setup, and any related queries while identifying opportunities to cross-sell banking products and services. Job Duties:

Prepare credit card application packs, including ID and verification checks, while reviewing high-risk factors. Assist customers with digital onboarding, including face-to-face meetings and guidance on the credit card mobile app. Respond to customer inquiries and manage email communications. Complete daily administrative tasks within the team. Assist with projects and large-scale system tasks as required. Support the setup of direct debits for clients. Aid the Local Banking Team in servicing existing clients and onboarding new clients. Assist clients with online banking activation, setup, and queries. Identify opportunities to cross-sell banking products and services, working collaboratively with the Local Banking Team and Relationship Managers.

Job Requirements:

Strong analytical skills and a keen desire to become knowledgeable in credit card support. An eagerness to build knowledge of financial crime and fraud risk. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. Excellent problem-solving, organisational, time management, and delegation skills. Prior experience is not a pre-requisite for this role.
