Banking, Business Analysts Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team in Jersey on a full-time basis. This role is pivotal in building a Project and Change Delivery function that supports business transformation and ensures that strategic initiatives are effectively delivered across the organisation. The Business Analyst will act as a bridge between business needs and solutions, working within cross-functional project teams. Responsibilities will include defining and documenting business requirements, enhancing processes, and providing support for projects while ensuring alignment with regulatory and internal standards. Additionally, the Business Analyst will play a crucial role in testing, operationalisation of changes, and the governance of documentation. Innovation and continuous learning are encouraged, with a focus on seeking and proposing new ideas to improve business processes and project delivery. Job Duties: Work closely with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements. Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discussions to understand existing processes and future needs. Translate business requirements into actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications. Analyse and map current business processes and design improved workflows, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency. Provide analytical support to project managers and contribute to the development of business cases. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure business needs are understood and translated into effective solutions. Define and execute test plans and user acceptance testing for system and process changes. Ensure compliance with the organisation's Change Control processes and maintain accurate project documentation. Job Requirements: Proven experience in business analysis within financial services, particularly in transformation functions. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with structured problem-solving capabilities. Experience in requirements elicitation, process mapping, and documentation of user stories. Hands-on experience in facilitating workshops and creating functional specifications. Effective communication skills and the ability to build trust with stakeholders at all organisational levels. Highly organised, methodical, and capable of managing multiple priorities. A good understanding of the regulatory environment and compliance considerations relevant to the role.
