We have an exciting opportunity for a Conveyancer to manage the administrative and legal process of buying and selling property in compliance with Guernsey property law. Key duties and Principles: Preparation and processing of bonds to be secured over Guernsey and Alderney realty for all major high street banks and private lending institutions Conducting property searches, review and research of property title, valuation reports, facility letters, planning applications and utilisation of Digimap and Cadastre records Preparation of reports on title and guarantor documentation Referring title issues to client banks and advising on same Communicating with conveyancing clerks, client banks, bank's customers, surveyors and external brokers Ensuring timely completion of transactions and that deadlines are achieved Providing a professional outstanding service, building and maintaining strong working relationships with our client banks Reviewing priority/release requests on behalf of our client banks and advising on same Attendance in the Contracts Court with our client bank's customers and representing our client banks by Power of Attorney to grant priorities and releases on their behalf Attendance at the Greffe for registration of court documentation The ideal candidate will have: At least 2 years' experience in some or all of the above duties is preferred Strong organisational, multitasking abilities and prioritisation of workload Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems Please click on "Apply Now" to submit a CV for this vacancy.
