Executive, Project Management Our client is seeking a Deputy Director of Change & Project Management to join their Risk and Operations Division. This role is essential in ensuring the delivery of high-quality prudential, financial crime, and conduct regulation within the Bailiwick of Guernsey. The Deputy Director will assist in protecting and enhancing the Bailiwick's international reputation within the financial services sector while promoting a regulatory environment conducive to good business practices. Key responsibilities include overseeing change management initiatives and ensuring the organisation's technology infrastructure supports supervisory effectiveness and innovation. The Deputy Director will be involved in planning, execution, and embedding organisational change strategies, fostering alignment of people, processes, and culture. This position entails significant stakeholder engagement, particularly regarding IT and data-focused change projects. The role promises opportunities for participating in staff management activities and shaping team dynamics. The role is a full-time position with a focus on long-term change objectives and performance outcomes. Job Duties: Assist the Director in the ongoing operation of the Division, ensuring systems are fit for purpose. Oversee the delivery of change projects within the Risk and Operations Division. Lead the planning, execution, and embedding of organisational change strategies. Engage stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of change projects. Utilise project planning tools to balance and deliver competing priorities. Allocate work to relevant team staff and assess their training needs. Provide training to staff and undertake staff appraisals. Manage staff recruitment, retention, and underperformance. Lead on formulating plans and strategies to achieve change objectives. Liaise with in-house and external suppliers for effective delivery of technology projects. Represent the organisation in official capacities related to change management and innovation. Conduct training and workshops, promoting best practices in change management. Make recommendations for change and assist in its implementation. Undertake any other duties as required by senior management. Job Requirements: Significant experience in project management and change management. In-depth understanding of risk-based supervisory approaches and financial regulations. Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver effective outcomes. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience in staff development and performance management. Ability to represent the organisation at external events and engage with various stakeholders.
