Junior Analyst

Our client is offering a role for a curious, detail-driven analyst keen to build experience in investment performance and risk oversight. This is a hands-on analytical position, where your work directly supports governance, oversight, and informed decision-making. Location Guernsey , Channel Islands Duties for this role include, but are not limited to: Undertake internal reviews of client investment portfolios against benchmarks and peer groups. Support the management of external service providers through timely delivery of information and documentation. Maintain and remediate portfolio-related data within core administration systems. Carry out research into counterparty credit ratings and investment risk. Download, analyse, and rework data from business intelligence systems for different stakeholder needs. Liaise with internal teams and external parties on matters relating to investment performance and risk. Attend Fiduciary Investment Committee meetings and prepare meeting minutes where required. Identify trends, discrepancies, outliers, and gaps within portfolio data and reporting. Skills / Qualifications The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and be highly comfortable working with data, particularly using Microsoft Excel. You will be detail-focused, organised, and confident managing multiple pieces of work simultaneously. This role suits someone with a genuine interest in investment markets and portfolio management, who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and developing insight from complex information.
