Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Manage all aspects of the Guernsey Registry for client and in-house entities, ensuring updates are completed within mandatory timelines.
- Maintain accurate beneficial ownership and control information across internal systems and registry filings.
- Oversee statutory data and annual validation filings for in-house companies.
- Own and manage key data held within the core database, ensuring alignment of fields and codes with regulatory requirements.
- Update and maintain structure charts, including beneficial ownership and control tests.
- Act as a key point of contact for Registry Supervision visits and registry-related matters.
- Support banking relationships and platforms from an operational perspective.
- Identify opportunities to improve data capture, reporting, and analysis in line with GFSC and registry obligations.
- Lead and develop junior team members, supporting performance, progression, and training.
- Oversee operational and transformation projects, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency.
- Manage annual data protection registrations and support maintenance of internal data protection registers.
- Participate in internal committees and contribute to wider governance activity.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience within the trust and company sector and hold a relevant professional qualification such as STEP or CGI. You will have strong operational and registry knowledge, sound judgement, and the ability to manage projects with minimal supervision. This role suits someone who enjoys coaching others, improving processes, and applying technical expertise to support regulatory compliance and high-quality client service.
