Our Crown Dependencies Finance Team provides financial accounting, management information and analysis and transactions processing services to the business.We are seeking a temporary Finance Assistant join our team in Jersey for a fixed period of 12-months. Due to local immigration restrictions, we are only able to consider candidates who are local to and currently residing in Jersey, Channel Islands. Job purpose:The Finance Assistant will support various aspects of accounts payable, credit control and other Finance administrative tasks.Accountabilities: Assist with adding invoices to the Finance Invoice PortalAssist with the overall Finance mailboxEmailing supplier remittances for monthly payment runAdding STAR recharges relating to invoices and credit cardsAssisting the credit controller setting up new invoice portals and loading invoices for paymentAssisting with sending out monthly company credit card statements for approval and documenting their returnAssist with paperwork in setting up new suppliersAssist with keeping banking details up to date for suppliers and Inter officeAssist with reconciling current suppliers in GP, Invoice Portal and supplier teams siteSupport in general as required across the daily finance transactions of the team Support future finance projects, objectivities and initiatives Person Specification Experience working within an accounts function would be an advantageIntermediate Excel skillsCurious mind-setLocal to Jersey and Entltied to Work
