From contracts to compliance, this role keeps yacht operations moving! Our client is looking for a detail-driven Crew Services Officer to manage crew employment and payroll from end to end.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Acting as the primary day-to-day contact for all crew employment and payroll matters across an allocated portfolio of yachts.
- Managing crew contracts and payroll processes from onboarding through to termination.
- Administering and processing crew payroll, including social security obligations.
- Onboarding new clients, yachts and crew in line with agreed procedures.
- Issuing employment agreements for new crew within required timeframes once documentation is received.
- Maintaining accurate crew records within internal systems and document management platforms.
- Liaising regularly with yacht owners, captains and crew to handle employment and payroll enquiries.
- Ensuring appropriate yacht, crew and professional indemnity insurances are in place and valid.
- Verifying crew certification against safe manning requirements and maintaining compliance with MLC and flag state regulations.
- Monitoring certification expiry dates and escalating any concerns where required.
- Supporting annual reviews of safe manning documentation in line with regulatory and insurance requirements.
- Arranging crew-related travel and recording crew leave where required.
- Supporting crew recruitment activities when needed.
- Escalating complex issues to senior colleagues or specialists as appropriate.
- Providing cover for wider crew team members during periods of absence.
- Supporting wider yacht services activity and contributing to the smooth running of the department.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be educated to A-Level standard or above and will be comfortable working in a fast-moving, client-facing environment. Previous yachting experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential, alongside clear communication skills and confidence dealing with owners, captains, crew and intermediaries. A proactive, solution-driven approach, professionalism and discretion are key to success in this role.
