We are looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join our team! This is an opportunity that would suit someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, building relationships and offering guidance - not someone driven by hard sales targets.

You'll spend your time getting to know candidates and clients properly, supporting people through what can be a big decision, while also helping businesses build strong, successful teams. We firmly believe that people make a business a success, and this role is about bringing the right people and organisations together in the right way, acting as a trusted point of contact rather than a salesperson.

Location

Guernsey,

Channel Islands

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Building long-term relationships with clients based on trust, consistency and understanding.
  • Meeting candidates to talk through career goals, concerns and next steps.
  • Managing recruitment processes from first conversation to successful placement.
  • Offering honest, balanced advice - even when the right answer is to say no.
  • Working closely with colleagues to deliver a joined-up, supportive service.
  • Handling sensitive information with discretion and care.
  • Keeping things organised and straightforward for both clients and candidates.
  • Being someone people feel comfortable coming back to for advice and guidance.

Skills / Qualifications

  • Experience as a Recruitment Consultant or 5-10 years' experience in a professional, people-focused role.
  • Background in finance, professional services or a regulated environment is an advantage but not essential.
  • Strong relationship-building or account management experience.
  • A natural sense of empathy and a genuine desire to help people.
  • Confidence speaking with a wide range of individuals, face-to-face and over the phone.
  • A thoughtful, considered approach - quality over quantity always.
  • Warm, approachable and a good listener.
  • Honest and comfortable having straightforward conversations.
  • Organised, reliable and able to juggle multiple roles at once.
  • Professional, discreet and trusted by others.
  • Happy working independently while being very much part of a team.
