Cherrypicker / MEWP Operator Location: Guernsey Employer: Small, established local company We are a Guernsey-based company seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Cherrypicker / MEWP Operator to join our team. This is a practical, hands-on role within a small, supportive working environment. Duties & Responsibilities -Operate cherry pickers / MEWPs safely and in accordance with training and site requirements -Carry out pre-use checks and report any defects -Assist with general site and maintenance work as required -Work in compliance with local health & safety regulations, including working at height -Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors -Maintain a high standard of workmanship at all times Skills & Requirements -IPAF or equivalent MEWP certification is desirable, and previous operating experience would be an advantage; however, training and certification can be provided for suitable candidates. -Good understanding of health & safety practices -Physically fit and comfortable working at height -Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a small team -A full driving licence is required. A Category C driving licence is preferred but not essential at this stage, provided it is obtained in due course. -Applicants must have the right to work in Guernsey -Excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a friendly, approachable attitude are essential.
