Network & Infrastructure Engineer

Our client seeks a Network and Infrastructure Engineer to support clients across the Channel Islands and the UK. This full-time role involves resolving IT issues, managing Windows environments, virtualisation technologies, and network infrastructure while collaborating with senior consultants to develop technical skills. Job Duties Resolve calls and faults related to IT infrastructure. Manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and virtualisation technologies. Maintain and troubleshoot network and firewall infrastructures. Assist with purchasing and supplier management. Support the Guernsey Network Operations Centre. Visit client sites to resolve incidents, carry out installations, or assist with IT projects. Collaborate with consultants on technical builds and infrastructure designs. Provide on-call support on a rota basis. Travel to the UK and Channel Islands as needed. Job Requirements 2–4 years' experience in a system or network/infrastructure role. Strong knowledge of desktop environments, Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking technologies. Methodical approach with logical troubleshooting skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service focus and ability to meet tight deadlines. Relevant IT certifications (Cisco, Checkpoint, Ubiquiti, Microsoft, CompTIA) are desirable.
