Corporate Tax specialist

Our client is seeking a Tax Manager to join their Guernsey-based team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role will involve assisting senior colleagues in delivering UK tax advisory and compliance services to a diverse portfolio of clients. The successful candidate will contribute to the continued growth of the team by supporting the provision of high-quality UK tax services to local fiduciaries and clients in international markets. Job Duties Provide and develop technical knowledge of UK tax legislation, especially UK corporate tax Assist in drafting technical written advice for clients Build and maintain strong client and intermediary relationships Attend and ultimately lead meetings with clients and intermediaries Manage personal workload to meet service targets Take ownership of performance goals and contribute to the development of the business Participate in and lead internal and external training sessions on technical tax topics Understand and manage chargeable time and billing processes for assigned client portfolio Collaborate with senior team members to escalate and resolve issues Ensure client onboarding complies with internal AML and CDD procedures Job Requirements Professionally qualified (ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA) Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax (advisory and compliance) Previous experience in a similar tax role Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively Commitment to delivering high-quality client service Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure Ability to plan, manage, and execute tasks independently Flexible and team-oriented approach to work Strong academic background
