Senior Fund Accountants x 2

Our client is seeking two experienced Senior Fund Accountants to join their dynamic team in Guernsey. These full-time roles are crucial in delivering high-quality accounting services to a diverse portfolio of fund administration and private equity clients. The selected candidates will play a significant part in helping the management team identify new business opportunities while ensuring outstanding client service and profitability. Job Duties Undertake all aspects of accounting for a portfolio of fund structures for private equity funds, including bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, preparation of financial statements, and management of investor capital accounts. Perform capital adequacy and solvency tests, calculation of management and performance fees, and address ad-hoc client and investor queries. Agree upon timetables and ensure adherence while maintaining proactive communication throughout the process. Coordinate the audit process for various companies and fund structures. Advise on potential accounting issues and current best practices, sharing knowledge and guidance with both the team and clients. Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures to enhance efficiency. Develop client-specific knowledge to facilitate the delivery of ad-hoc queries. Fulfil signatory responsibilities as required. Ensure all activities comply with company policies, procedures, and regulations. Update timesheets on a daily basis. Assist in training and developing other team members. Job Requirements Minimum of 2 - 3 years’ accounting experience within the offshore funds industry, specifically in private equity fund accounting. A recognised accounting qualification, with familiarity in UK GAAP and IFRS. Advanced proficiency in Excel. Exceptional attention to detail. Strong organisation skills with the ability to set priorities and manage deadlines effectively.
