Senior Accounting and Technology Officer

A leading financial services organisation in Guernsey is recruiting a Senior Accounting and Technology Officer to play a key role in supporting fund and accounting teams through system expertise, process leadership and hands-on operational oversight. A great role for a nearly qualified or qualified accountant who enjoys accounting systems, ownership and problem-solving more than front-line client work, offering hybrid working and increased responsibility under a highly regarded, supportive manager. Responsibilities include: Acting as a subject-matter expert for fund accounting systems (including eFront), supporting administrators and accountants. Leading and coordinating system-related requests, reporting outputs and process improvements. Preparing scoping documents and advising on best practice system inputs and controls. Supporting, guiding and mentoring junior operational support team members. You’ll be almost qualified or qualified with a strong accountancy background, confident working independently and comfortable taking ownership of systems and processes. You’ll enjoy improving how things work, supporting others, and being the go-to person for operational insight within a collaborative, people-focused team.
