Our client is seeking a Newly Qualified Internal Auditor to join their Advisory Team, delivering high-quality internal audit and assurance assignments to their diverse client base. This role involves independent responsibility for the planning, performance, and reporting of internal audit reviews, while also providing an opportunity to build technical and client management skills. The position is ideal for newly qualified professionals eager to take on increased responsibility and become involved in a varied portfolio. The Internal Auditor will have the chance to lead smaller audits and manage specific areas within larger audits, along with interacting with clients and guiding trainees. Job Duties Lead smaller audits and take ownership of areas within larger audits. Plan engagements including scoping, risk assessments, and testing programmes. Perform detailed control testing and identify control gaps. Draft clear audit findings and prepare reports. Build strong client relationships and communicate progress. Provide guidance to trainees and review junior work. Maintain up-to-date regulatory and technical knowledge. Meet CPD and professional standards. Job Requirements Educated to A-Level or graduate level. Newly qualified ACA/ACCA/IIA or equivalent. 1–3 years' audit, risk, or controls assurance experience. Understanding of internal controls, governance, and risk frameworks. Strong communication and report-writing ability. Ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines. Collaborative team player with mentoring skills. Interest in risk, controls, and internal audit. Strong organisation, attention to detail, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Basic Microsoft Office skills; cloud tools beneficial.
