Internal Auditor - Advisory

Our client is seeking a Qualified Internal Auditor to join their Advisory team! If you are ACA, ACCA or CIA qualified and ready to step up, lead audit areas and make a real impact on governance, risk and internal control, this could be your next move. Location Guernsey , Channel Islands Duties for this role include, but are not limited to: Leading smaller audits and taking ownership of key areas within larger engagements. Planning and delivering audits in line with IIA standards. Performing detailed control testing and identifying control gaps. Recommending practical improvements to strengthen governance and risk frameworks. Drafting clear, high-quality audit reports. Building strong client relationships and supporting portfolio growth. Providing guidance and mentoring to junior team members. Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge and meeting CPD requirements. Skills / Qualifications The ideal candidate will be newly qualified ACA, ACCA or CIA (or equivalent) with 1-3 years' audit, risk or controls assurance experience. They will demonstrate strong communication skills, confidence engaging with clients and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. A strong understanding of internal controls, governance and risk frameworks is essential, alongside the ability to manage tasks independently and deliver to deadlines.
