Operations and Business Development Manager

Prospero Facilities Services are recruiting for Operations and Business Development Manager. This role offers scope for development/opportunities to grow the business in Guernsey and will be responsible for managing a team of tradespeople. The Operations and Business Development Manager will oversee the delivery of all hard facilities management services ensuring compliance, safety, quality and efficiency in all aspects of service delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, technical expertise, and operational management skills to drive performance and maintain the highest standards of service. Key responsibilities include team management, service delivery, operational planning, compliance and safety, client relationship management, budget management, supplier and contractor management and technical support. . A strong understanding hard facilities management services, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance. Knowledge of health and safety regulations, compliance standards, and best practices within facilities management is essential Proven experience in an operational management role within the facilities management sector with a focus on hard services along with a demonstrable experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary teams. A technical proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and general building maintenance. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and facilities management software. A relevant qualification in engineering, facilities management or a related field is preferred as are professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, BIFM, or equivalent) are advantageous. Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a facilities or building services environment would be advantageous.
