Our client is seeking a temporary Account Manager to serve as the primary point of contact between their Relationship Managers, the Bank, and a designated portfolio of clients. This role is critical in delivering the highest standard of client service. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating client instructions, managing the end-to-end processes related to deposits and payments, foreign exchange, securities transactions, and corporate actions. They will deliver a highly personalised service through proactive client engagement and prepare necessary account opening documentation. The Account Manager will also resolve issues collaboratively with the Relationship Manager and onboarding team, maintain client accounts to meet group minimum standards, assist in client periodic reviews, and support the positioning of the Bank’s full suite of services. Staying current with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies is essential to support the implementation and maintenance of departmental procedures in day-to-day operations. Job Duties Coordinating client instructions. Managing the end-to-end process of deposits and payments, foreign exchange, securities transactions, and corporate actions. Delivering a highly personalised service through proactive client engagement. Preparing account opening documentation. Resolving issues such as missing information or red flags in collaboration with the Relationship Manager and onboarding team. Ensuring client accounts are maintained to meet group minimum standards, and supporting the Relationship Manager in monitoring transactional activity and addressing remediation requirements. Assisting in client periodic reviews. Supporting the positioning of the Bank’s full suite of services – including savings, FX, custody, and lending. Collaborating with the Relationship Manager to manage and coordinate client entertainment and relationship building activities. Staying current with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies, and supporting the implementation and ongoing maintenance of departmental procedures in day-to-day operations. Job Requirements A good background in a front office client support role, ideally in the banking/trust services sector. A drive to deliver an exceptional client experience. Self-motivated, flexible, and able to manage several tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of Banking, Custody, FX and Credit. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships. Attention to detail and organisational skills. Good project management skills with a track record of working within a team. Strong IT skills. A high degree of risk awareness and compliance orientation. A strong ability to effectively support and build client relationships in conjunction with the Relationship Manager.
