Our client is seeking an Associate Trust Officer to support the management of fiduciary accounts within the Private Client Fiduciary Services (PCFS) sector. This role involves assisting in the administration of a designated portfolio of fiduciary entities, which may include trusts, companies, foundations, and nomineeships. The Associate will work closely with Fiduciaries and various teams, such as Fiduciary Management, Fiduciary Structure Management, and the Professional Services Group, to ensure the delivery of bespoke services tailored to client needs. This position will include facilitating client and advisor visits, contributing to the development of client relationships, and providing essential support in managing procedural tasks. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a proactive approach in assisting with client requests, fee reviews, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, making it an excellent opportunity for someone early in their fiduciary career. Job Duties Assist Fiduciaries in managing a portfolio of fiduciary entities in collaboration with relevant teams. Support regular client and advisor visits to strengthen client relationships. Analyse client requests and contribute technical input under the guidance of Fiduciaries. Assist with fee reviews to ensure effective recovery of work in progress and achievement of targets. Sign client communications following established policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with regulations and support Fiduciaries in addressing audit points. Engage in coaching and mentoring where appropriate. Job Requirements Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues across teams. Strong adaptability and resilience when faced with challenges in fiduciary services. Currently studying towards or having completed a Category A or B level qualification under relevant financial services regulations. Desirable experience in fiduciary operations relating to trusts, companies, foundations, and nomineeships. Competency in using various software tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and workflows, alongside strong keyboard skills. A team-oriented mindset, with a focus on open communication and collaboration.
