Compliance Director

An opportunity to shape and lead an in-house compliance function for a growing funds business in Guernsey that values trust, autonomy, and getting things done. This is a senior, outcome-focused role where you’ll move compliance from outsourced to embedded, working closely with the leadership team in a small, high-calibre Guernsey office. Responsibilities include: Take on prescribed responsibilities including MLRO, MLCO and related roles Design, implement and own the compliance monitoring programme Act as the primary point of contact with the GFSC, building strong, credible relationships Lead AML/CFT frameworks, policies and practical solutions across the business You’ll be pragmatic, solutions-minded and proactive, with the gravitas to engage confidently with regulators. This role suits either an experienced senior funds compliance professional or a strong AML/CFT leader keen to deepen funds exposure.
