One of our valued clients, a small and close‑knit financial services team, is seeking a Trust Client Accountant to join their Guernsey office. This role offers a supportive environment, strong team cohesion and hands‑on accounting exposure across a variety of client structures. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality accounting services, preparing statutory and management accounts, completing financial filings and supporting broader operational processes. Responsibilities include: Processing accounting transactions, preparing financial statements and completing reconciliations for designated client entities. Supporting colleagues with accounting queries, assisting with tax returns (including ATED, Guernsey and UK filings) and preparing FATCA/CRS reports. Providing general operational support including payment processing, updating procedures, maintaining compliance and assisting with regulatory submissions. Acting as an authorised signatory, liaising with clients and external partners, producing management information and contributing to process improvement and automation. This role would suit someone who enjoys a varied workload within a small but collaborative team who is detail-oriented, organised and confident managing deadlines and multiple priorities. You should also be a strong communicator, who is capable of liaising with clients, colleagues and external stakeholders.
