Overview We are seeking a highly organised and strategically minded Support Manager Executive Operations to join our team. Based in either Guernsey or Jersey, this pivotal role enhances the effectiveness of the Chief of Staff and senior leadership team by driving operational excellence, coordinating strategic initiatives, and ensuring strong alignment across the organisation. Acting as a central connecting point between the Chief of Staff, Executive Committee, Executive Assistants, and wider business, you will streamline processes, strengthen decision-making, and ensure a consistent, high-quality operational rhythm across the Executive function. Key Accountabilities Strategic & Executive Support Partner with the Chief of Staff and Executive Committee to deliver strategic priorities, business plans, and key initiatives. Prepare high-quality briefing materials, reports, and presentations for executive and board-level discussions. Support annual planning cycles, performance tracking, and business reviews. Act as a liaison between senior leaders and the wider organisation, ensuring clear and consistent communication. Draft executive summaries, internal communications, and stakeholder updates. Operational Excellence & Efficiency Identify and remove operational bottlenecks to enhance cross-functional efficiency. Coordinate activities across teams and ensure timely follow through on actions and commitments. Own the rhythm of executive meetings, including agendas, minutes, and action tracking. Support adherence to governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks. Executive & EA Office Support Provide day-to-day operational support to Executive Assistants to streamline workflows and resolve scheduling or prioritisation conflicts. Drive consistency in administrative standards, templates, and processes. Strengthen communication flow between EAs, senior leaders, and the Chief of Staff's office. Leadership Team Enablement Support the operational rhythm of the Leadership Team, including meeting preparation, logistics, and follow-ups. Work with EAs to deliver high-quality leadership offsites, town halls, forums, and planning sessions. Maintain oversight of forward planning for senior leadership calendars and organisational events. People, Culture & Organisational Development Partner with People Business Partners to support engagement initiatives, talent programmes, and cultural development activities. Contribute to colleague experience enhancements and organisation-wide culture initiatives. Process & Governance Enhancement Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce friction. Ensure documentation, approvals, and governance processes are delivered accurately and on time. Maintain an organised, audit-ready environment across administrative and governance workflows. Requirements Essential Skills & Experience: Proven experience in business operations, project management, or senior executive support roles. Experience supporting a Chief of Staff office or similar strategic function. Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. High emotional intelligence with strong stakeholder management capability. Experience working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant project management or data visualisation tools. Familiarity with organisational design, change management, or HR processes. Desirable Qualifications & Skills Degree in Business, Management, or a related field (MBA or equivalent is a plus). Experience planning, managing, and evaluating change programmes. Process improvement expertise (e.g., LEAN methodology). Project or programme management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2 or equivalent).
