About the Role We're looking for an aspiring Compliance professional to join our Guernsey office. This person could be looking to begin their compliance career, or come to the role with some experience already. This is a key role within the Compliance team, which oversees CSC Guernsey's regulatory and Group obligations. The position offers exposure to a broad range of compliance responsibilities and the opportunity to contribute to internal processes, projects, and regulatory matters across a complex financial services business. We are open to considering candidates at both Junior or Administrator level, so if you are looking to grow your career in compliance, we'd like to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Compliance Monitoring & Registers: Support the Compliance Monitoring Programme and manage relevant registers. Client Due Diligence & Onboarding: Assist with compliance analysis for onboarding and reassessment of clients, and help resolve CDD issues. Incident & Complaint Handling: Support responses to breaches, errors, omissions, and complaints. Policy & Procedure Development: Contribute to the drafting and review of compliance policies and procedures. Risk Review & Escalations: Review high-risk files and issues escalated from the business. Reporting & Record-Keeping: Support internal management and external regulatory reporting, and maintain required records. Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships across Guernsey business units and provide guidance on regulatory matters. Group Collaboration: Participate in Group projects and collaborate with colleagues across CSC offices. Regulatory Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Guernsey regulations, particularly the GFSC Handbook on Countering Financial Crime and Terrorist Financing. Governance & Conduct: Act as a role model in identifying improvements, escalating concerns, and adhering to internal governance and conduct standards. Your profile: Experience: You bring transferable skills and a strong willingness to learn and grow within a compliance-focused environment. Technical Proficiency: You're confident using IT systems and tools, with the ability to quickly adapt to compliance platforms and processes. Learning Mindset: You're proactive, curious, and keen to develop your understanding of compliance and the regulatory landscape. Adaptability: You're comfortable working in a dynamic environment and can quickly get to grips with new processes and requirements. Communication Skills: You can communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues across the business, and are confident asking questions when needed.
