Job Title: Carpenter Location: On-site (various locations as required) Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Employment Type: Full-time, subject to a 3-month trial period Job Description We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality timber work and professional kitchen installations across various projects. You must be able to work accurately to blueprints and ensure a premium finish on every task. Key Responsibilities: • Carrying out first and second-fix carpentry tasks. • Full kitchen installations, including cabinetry, worktops, and finishing trims. • Installing structures and fixtures such as windows, door frames, and flooring. • Measuring, cutting, and shaping wood, composite, and other materials. • Working from drawings and specifications to meet project requirements. • Maintaining a clean, safe workspace and adhering to site safety rules. Requirements: • Proven experience as a Carpenter with specific experience in kitchen fitting. • Must have a full set of professional tools and reliable transport. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-end craftsmanship. • Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team. • Strong problem-solving skills for on-site adjustments. Pay & Remuneration : Pay will be £20-£25 per hour, dependent on the candidate's experience, skill set, and demonstrated ability on site. The final rate will reflect individual competence, efficiency, and the quality of finish provided. Trial Period: This role is subject to a 3-month trial period, during which performance, reliability, and suitability for the role will be assessed.
