BMW Master Technician

The Master Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex mechanical and electrical systems while providing technical leadership and support to other technicians. This role requires expert-level knowledge, a strong commitment to quality, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults efficiently and accurately - Carry out advanced servicing, maintenance, and repair work in line with manufacturer and company standards - Lead by example in workshop best practices, safety, and quality control - Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to junior technicians - Perform detailed fault-finding using diagnostic equipment and specialist tools - Ensure all work is completed to high standards, within agreed timeframes - Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and diagnostics performed - Stay up to date with new technologies, manufacturer updates, and industry developments Experience Required: - Proven experience as a Master Technician or Senior Technician - Advanced technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic systems - Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions Desirable: - Manufacturer-specific certifications or accreditations - Experience mentoring or training other technicians - Familiarity with the latest diagnostic software and tools Benefits: - Competitive Salary - 22 Days Annual Leave plus Public Holidays (increasing with service) - Pension Scheme - Refer a Friend Scheme - Employee Assistance Programme, offering unlimited access to 24/7/365 to support for mental health, and advice including financial, relationship and legal advice. - Discount scheme offering multiple online discounts at various stores, restaurants and gyms.
