Weekend Retail Assistant Le Friquet Garden Centre, Guernsey Job Type Part Time Weekend Role Hours ● Saturday: 8.30am to 5.00pm (8 hours) ● Sunday: 10.00am to 5.00pm (6.5 hours) ● Applicants may work either Saturday, Sunday, or both days depending on availability. Hourly Rate £16 per hour About the Role Le Friquet Garden Centre is looking for reliable and enthusiastic weekend team members to support our Home Department and Garden Leisure Department. The role focuses on providing excellent customer service while assisting with basic stock and merchandising tasks within the department. This position may particularly suit individuals who already have a full time job and are looking for additional income at weekends. Key Responsibilities ● Providing friendly and professional customer service ● Assisting customers with product enquiries ● Maintaining high standards of presentation within the department ● Supporting with basic stock management tasks ● Working as part of a team to deliver a positive shopping experience Requirements ● Applicants must be 18 years or older ● Previous experience dealing with customers is preferred (retail or other sectors welcome) ● Positive attitude and strong communication skills ● Ability to prioritise tasks and work in a busy environment ● Reliable and able to work scheduled weekend shifts What We Offer ● £16 per hour ● 20% staff discount ● Paid annual leave ● Subsidised meals while on duty How to Apply Please send your CV to: lefriquetrecruitment@bluediamond.gg
