Construction Project Manager 1 year FTC

We are now hiring a Construction Project Manager to join the Change Resources Team. The post holder will be responsible for the successfully delivery of large scale capital construction projects within the States of Guernsey. The post holder will lead the design and construction management of significant priority and large scale infrastructure programmes. This includes reviewing technical information, design and product information, oversight of procurement, installation and commissioning. This will require a highly competent Construction Programme leader working within a multi- million budget. The successful candidate will have a good technical knowledge of managing projects within NEC 4 contract requirements. The role will require leadership in managing and liaising with design and construction contractors and senior stakeholders. The post holder will have responsibilities regarding the day to day oversight of the construction work and leading the delivery of the projects on site and/or providing the internal intelligent client function to oversee external professionals and/or contractors, ensuring an integrated approach that reflects the specific deliverables and outcomes required by the projects. The post holders will ensure that the building proposals are of the required quality and will act as the interface between the design and construction teams, the local agencies involved in construction and the end users.
