Retail Assistant - WHSmith (Guernsey Airport) Caterleisure (Guernsey) Ltd Part time / Full time - depending on experience Caterleisure (Guernsey) Ltd operates the WHSmith retail outlet as well as the Bailiwick Bar & Kitchen cafés at Guernsey Airport. We are now looking for a RETAIL ASSISTANT to join our busy airport store. Our mission is to provide friendly, efficient, and high quality service to all passengers, visitors, and airport staff. Requirements To apply, you must have: •Valid Guernsey residence - you must currently live in Guernsey in private accommodation (we do not provide accommodation) •Right to Work in Guernsey documents •Good level of spoken English •Friendly, approachable manner and strong teamwork skills •Ability to pass Police Check Disclosures •Ability to provide 5 years of continuous employment or education history (required for an airport security pass) What We Offer •£11.35 per hour (16+) or £13.00 per hour (18+) •20+ hours per week •£250 bonus upon successful completion of probation •Additional financial rewards to be discussed with successful candidates •28 days' holiday •Paid breaks •Uniform provided •Meals on duty •Flexible rota with straight shifts •Supportive colleagues and a positive working environment About the Job Full training will be provided. Your duties may include: •Assisting customers at the till and providing excellent service •Restocking shelves and maintaining product displays •Keeping the shop clean, tidy, and well organised •Receiving and checking deliveries •Helping ensure the store meets WHSmith and airport standards This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction and takes pride in maintaining a well presented retail environment.
